The Hickory Downtown Development Association is seeking artists interested in participating in the upcoming City Walk Summer Stroll to be held August 20, 2022 from 4 pm to 8 pm in Downtown Hickory. The Stroll will begin at Lowe’s City Park parking lot and continue through Hickory, ending at Lenoir Rhyne College.

Both artists and buskers will be placed along the City Walk in various locations.

All booth spaces are 10 feet by 10 feet. Limit one (1) booth per applicant. The registration fee for each booth is $15. There is no available electricity for your booth. Registrations must be postmarked by July 15, 2022.

Artists and buskers will be notified of their acceptance on or before August 1, 2022.

Buskers and artists will be chosen by committee and contacted by Monday, August 1, 2022.

Celebrate the City Walk Trail and Downtown Hickory! Take a bite to eat with you from a selection of local Food Trucks in the Lowes City Parking lot as you stroll the City Walk over to LRU. With each step enjoy local craft vendors, non-profits and musicians. Stop for another snack at Allegra Print and Imaging parking lot! Meander with family and friends to St. Andrews Lutheran Church for fun and games! Finish with some LR Bears excitement at LRU!
