Fall Art Crawl

On Thursday, September 21, the Downtown Hickory Art Crawl brings artists, art demonstrations and music to Downtown Hickory. Artists will be displaying their creations in a four easy walkable city blocks. There will be pottery, paintings, woodworking, photography and much, much more. Please remember the art work is for sale!

The Kick-Off Party begins at 5:00 pm at Full Circle Arts, located at 42B Third Street NW or Trade Alley Art, located at 25 2nd St NW. The works of Full Circle Arts members and Trade Valley Art are highlighted. Maps of the Art Crawl route and the participants will be available. Make sure to pick one up so you do not miss out on any of the artists. The Art Crawl ends at 8:00 pm.

Side/Show is back! Join the Western Piedmont Symphony small ensembles for free, unique, live music experiences. Happening in downtown Hickory in partnership with the Downtown Hickory Fall Art Crawl.

Along with ART, there will be face painters, buskers and Hickory Ballet will have a “Fairy Walk” that everyone can participate in.

The Downtown Hickory Art Crawl is hosted by the Hickory Downtown Development Association and sponsored by BHIC, Focus Newspaper and Allegra Printing.

Western Piedmont Symphony is a grant recipient of the North Carolina Arts Council and a funded affiliate of the United Arts Council of Catawba County. Business offices are located on the SALT Block at 243 Third Avenue NE, Hickory. Box Office hours are 10:00 am until 4:00 pm daily.

The Hickory Downtown Development Association tent will be located in the parking lot of Full Circle Arts and will have T-shirts for sale, along with information about Hickory.
