Enjoy safe trick-or-treating in downtown Hickory. Downtown businesses will give away treats to costumed kids aged 12 and younger from 4-5pm. Pumpkin decorating with Hickory Museum of Art will happen for the first 400 kids. Costume contest will begin at 5:15pm. There are three Categories for participants, ages 0-6, ages 7-12, and families. Winners in each category will receive tickets for a family of four to see the Hickory Community Theatre’s production of Elf, Jr. WHKY’s Hal Row will emcee the contest. Bring your little fairy princess or scary goblin to Downtown Hickory for a fun afternoon!
